I was visiting one of my relatives places in Churahat, Sidhi  and thought of visiting Parsili to spend a day/night at this stunningly beautiful and peaceful property. It was about 70 KMs from Churahat (A small town primarily famous for being the political hub and heritage of Kunwar Arjun Singh). We started around 8 AM in the morning and reached outskirts of Parsili within two hours. Even the journey happened to be quite delightful due to scenic beauty of mountains, farms and forests on both side of the road. Here is a video of this amazing trip!

The moment you enter the property through a road that bisects forest you are happily welcomed with a sight of ship like property with lush green surrounding dominated by teak wood. on the right side of the property there is parking space followed by AC wooden cottages with some of them facing river side. A lovely reception welcomes you and after few steps the pathway leads you to Banas Restaurant.  On the first floor you've 5 AC rooms that are good enough to accommodate even a big family.

Staying in cottages itself is an experience that offers you aesthetic wooden treat with all three star amenities at your disposal. River side view from the cottage is an icing on the cake.

Banas Restaurant
It offers delicious regional cuisines for veg and non veg both. Bagheli chicken is something I'd recommend if you are fond of nonvegetarian dishes. Staff it albeit less which may cause some delay in services but food is worth waiting for - Fresh & delicious.

During the evening we also paid a quick visit to "Kath Bangla" located at 5 KMs distance from resort which is now a camping site. It is said that this wooden villa at Banas river Bank used to host royals and influential guests during hunting or river side camping during leisure time. This is the best place to enjoy bare foot walk on the sand and to watch many species of birds. If you are a bird lover, you should be there for few hours to see some endangered bird species.

Now only old remains are there to be seen but they are still standing with all the glorious past and umpteenth stories within their walls.

After spending some wonderful time at the resort at river side we set out to Sanjay Dubri Tiger reserve which was mere 15 KMs away from Parsili Resort. One must visit it if it happens to be a wild life lover in either morning or evening to enjoy jungle safari.

Sanjay Dubri Tiger Reserve

Sanjay Dubri Tiger Reserve wildlife is spread across three districts (Korea in CG & Sidhi & Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh). This National park was established in 1975. The world-famous white tigers “MOHAN” was found and rescued from the forest of this landscape by Maharaja Martand Singh Judev of Rewa in 1951. It is densely covered primarily by sal and teak woods and is home to Tigers and hundreds of other species of wild animals like Indian leopard, spotted deer, Sambar deer, wild boar, Nilgai, Chinkara, Civet, Porcupine, Monitor lizard, and 309 species of birds are found here. Birds found here are Golden Hooded Oriole, Racket-tailed Drongo, Indian pitta, Rufous treepie, Lesser adjutant, Red-headed vulture and many others.

Since it was late we couldn't join the evening safari however, with a thought of covering it early next morning we headed back to home.
